photo taken in the ghost town of Rhyolite Nevada on our travels. The gold ran out and the town died.

The gold always runs out - a lesson there for all of us Nice image, good treatment. What did you take it through? Some kind of opening in another building?

Very good picture! I'm curious to know in which way you took/edited it to achieve the effects on the borders.

the filter I used gave it this appearance, it was shot in the open field, turned out weird but I liked it. Thanks for viewing.

I don't think I ever made it there. Google says that building was hit by lightning and burned down in Sept 2014 :-(

I converted the original color photo to b/w and darkened it. I used the effects portion of Corel PaintShop and clicked on the illumination effect which added the lights and odd effect. I thought about cloning out the sides but it was different enough I thought it might add some interest, thanks for viewing and the question.
