It looked better as a sepia tone than in color. The old revolver is a hoot to shoot! An elderly friend of mine, in his 80's, made the knife and scabbard for me. I own many, but this one is the finest of them all. His heat-treating process is second to none and once this knife is sharp, it refuses to get dull! It's made from an old file. He fashioned the blade guard from a solid block of brass.

Playing with your balls and nipples again? Yes they are fun to shoot but not so much fun to clean.

I suppose that would have to be a Navy Colt, wouldn't it?

You're lucky to be friends with a bladesmith, too!

A Navy Colt, it is! A .36 caliber. Yep, my bladesmith friend has presented me with several knives over the years, but this one is my favorite. I wore it on my belt every time I took a trip on my motorcycle. It has great heft and fits my hand like a glove. The 1095 tool steel blade is without peer.

That is one beautiful well-crafted knife. Perhaps you can make it the subject of some closeups.
