Camera: K 5 Photo Location: Zion Utah

the last bit of sunlight striking the eastern canyon wall as the moon starts to rise at Zion NP, Utah.

It's a wonderful place to visit, we stayed 2 weeks there this last visit, so much beauty.

Well, I knew it wasn't moonset at sunrise! Nice dramatic contrasts.

Was this a recent trip, Bob? We were there at the start of the month. I've never seen so many tripods in one place...

hey Jeff, I'll leave that sunrise stuff to you, you know me too well lol. This is from last year, I just found a file of about 100 photos I had forgotten about. That is a popular place for sure to photograph, did you make it over to Bryce Canyon?

Not this year. We just had 4 days so we spent the entire time at Zion. Not as much as I would have liked, but much better than not going.

another place we like at Zion is Kolob Canyon, it's out of the park up the I 15 a bit, but worth the drive. Glad you got to visit Jeff, really a beautiful area.
