For anyone who may not have seen this in the POTW thread...

I went to a co-worker's house to take a few pics of her daughter, who's about to graduate from high school. Her younger son was also there, but not in a smiling mood. Good thing he was somewhat curious about the camera. As we were about to walk out the door, he looked up at me and I caught this:

Yep, FA50 which can hunt in low light, but I was wide enough that it wasn't a problem here. Good thing!

yep... i would not be able to take the same picture with my A 50 1.4 mostly because it would take me few secs longer to focus correctly and the kid would've run away!

ohh well...

Thanks! When I posted it this morning in the POTW thread and looked at it again, it seemed like it belonged. Of course, we all know how that usually turns out. The one pic I have in the PPG is probably not in my top 10-20 shots. I have no idea how it got accepted and some really good ones got the thumbs down. I don't worry about it. If I like it and you guys like, that's good enough for me. More importantly, his mother loved it.....and that's all that really matters.

I honestly had no idea you had posted it in the POTW thread. I was at work at that time and figured I'd do my part and voted on other people's works.
In between those countless holiday snapshots I found your photograph.

I conquered.
Everything is good in this image and the first thing we see this kid which we transperce.
Awesome.

Je suis conquis.
Tout est bon dans cette image et la première chose, c'est le regard de ce gosse qui nous transperce.
Génial.
