More and more I have some respect for the 50-200 kit lens that came with the K-50.

Originally this lens had front focus that I chalked up to lens quality. I could live with it, but i was ready for a new lens. After approximately 5k pictures with it, I received a suggestion from a forum member to check the back focus. Did some testing at home with it and ended up with a -5 adjustment for this lens. This weekend provided some practical usage after the adjustment. Now I think a slight back focus, so have adjusted -3. About 550 barrel/pole pics which definitely turned out much better than most of the "pre-adjustment" pictures I've taken to date. I was excited to see these!!! Not saying this is THE lens, but happier with it now than I was 4 months ago.

The only post processing on the pics is cropping.
