You know it's chilly when the drool freezes before it hits the ground.

Someone get that guy a blanket!

Yup. Mine does too! He's acclimatized, believe it or not - lives outside all winter with that short coat. Brrrrrrrrrr…..

In the second shot he seems to resent being outside and blaming you!

Aw, it's not cold yet. It's only the beginning of December.

Really Genius! why do you think that the other canines (you may know them as wolves, foxes, etc) in the area where you live have somewhat different coats.

Pardon? You'd have to discuss that with the owner, I believe. But Inuit have difference customs regarding dogs. Mine always slept inside.

Wonderful glimpses of the frozen landscape, and great illustration of the dog story...

#2 sure is expressive - maybe not so much resentment at being left behind as resentment of the photographer??

He seemed to be very interested in the photographer at first but I kept chatting with him and he calmed down quite a bit. Thanks, Mole.

-22C, the dog is fine, me on the other hand would be feeling the old joints. Good shots, thanks for sharing.

I think we're sharing the same joints! I swear I can feel the cold in the steel hip more and more each year.
Thanks
John

well I guess as long as the wind isn't blowing that isn't really cold. I get cold anymore when I open the refrigerator, so I keep traveling further south every year. Nice shots that made me turn on the heater.
