Snowdrifts
Posted By: jac, 12-07-2014, 02:46 PM

Just a few older shots of snowdrifts, converted with Silver Efex Pro2. The tracks are Arctic fox; they cover every square foot of territory when food is scarce.

A nice set of snow pictures! particularly the first and third!
The third, in colour, is really quite unremarkable, just a jumble of off blues that are hard for my old eyes to distinguish as separate shades. Thanks for the comments!

Really good work on black and white.
congrats
As I noted above, there's something in the shapes and contrasts that lend themselves to B&W. Thanks.

A wonderful set--the last, especially, I find mesmerizing. For some reason, I often find that animal tracks have a "presence" more powerful than if it were standing there in the flesh...
I would have loved to have watched the little fox as it made these trails. Thanks Bear.
