All very nice. #6 looks to have some issues in the sky?

Great set! This must have been a special trip.
How close was the Rhino in #5?

As far as I can see there is no sky in #6:-)

Nice! Is that Queen Elizabeth NP?

The rhino in #5 wouldn't be too far away, I suppose, as the focal length used was 190mm.

Thanks! Yes, there's no sky in #6 - that's the Nile river behind the elephant. And I there's a long piece of grass in the way - but the elephant was far away and it's rainy season so there wasn't much I could do about the height of the grass.

The rhinos are from the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. You can track them there and we were lucky because sometimes they are asleep under trees and about all you can see is the top of their ears. These three followed us down the road to the park headquarters so they got really close - close enough that the park ranger had to ask them to back off occasionally.

Most of these were taken at Murchison Falls National Park.

I'll be sharing more. Uganda is a wonderful place to go for photography. Loved it! And there aren't too many people going so you pretty much have the place to yourself. Not as much wildlife as Tanzania but you can see chimpanzees and mountain gorillas in the wild and the landscape is stunning. The people are very friendly with a good sense of humor too. Overall, loved it.

Keep the pictures coming, please! It is almost 20 years since I visited Uganda - and certainly wouldn't mind returning. In the meantime I will have to live through the lenses of others

I wish my full-time job didn't get in the way of my photography. Here's another photo I really like - it looks like a Rousseau painting to me.
