Hi jac,
nice shots. I especially like the accent colors in the two last images. Nicely used to fill the pictures with life.

I cannot begin to tell you how agoraphobic these make me: I'm going to grab 'holt of the next tree trunk I come to and hold on tight.


At any rate, a great set, but there's something special happening in the second one I think.

Well, low light angle plus white snow plus diffraction through ice crystals make snow and ice blue to the human eye from Jac's latitude south to 40 degrees N at least. To my snow eyeball the color is just right. White snow puts in a cameo summer appearance above 60 degrees N.
