Posted By: kengoh, 12-14-2014, 08:00 AM

Though 500mm has a longer reach but Pentax DA*300 is still a capable lens.
Sharing some shots with this lens, all except #5 (shot with K5) was shot with my 1st DSLR - Pentax K-x

#1 Dragonfly

#2 White Bellied Sea Eagle

#3 Changeable Lizard

#4 Mustache Parakeet in flight

#5 Juice from the egg or the Monitor Lizard's saliva?

Thanks for viewing.

Ken I always love all the stuff you post, one big reason is the subject isolation with super smooth background bokeh.
How do you manage to achieve it so consistently?
Most of my wildlife shots with the DA*300 always have background that is busy and not smooth at all.

Thanks Larry.
I choose and frame with the best possible background, I shoot alot too, from the shots I select those with clean perch, process and post them.
