Autumnal River Dwyfor, Llanystumdwy
Lens: Sigma 18-50 Camera: K5 ISO: 50 Aperture: F11
Posted By: bychan, 12-15-2014, 12:42 PM

Had a few days off work a few weeks ago, and decided to return for a walk along the banks of the River Dwyfor in Llanystumdwy (the walk starts right by the grave of the British Prime Minister, David Lloyd George 1916-1922, to date the only Welshman to have held the position of Prime Minister).

My aim was to get some autumnal colours, here's a selection.
All K5 and Sigma 18-50 TAV mode F11 & 0.8".

That's lovely--the fourth and fifth "low angle" shots are really special in my eyes. At any rate, you've some beautiful streams in your part of the world--I've kicked around on the Afon Banwy and was lucky enough to fish the Usk...that dark, peaty substrate really adds to their charm.

Your images provoke the smells and sounds of the your walk.

My dug Brodie would go with you there anytime, looks like his kind of paradise.

Thanks CreationBear, can't say I've had the privilege of walking along the banks of either the Banwy or Usk.

Thanks Kerrowdown, you're not wrong with regards to it being a paradise for the dog. Toby, my 3 year old Spaniel/Collie cross, loves it here (then again, where doesn't he love when it comes to a walk)

What a beautiful place. I almost want to buy a dog so I have an excuse to walk along that river.

Thanks Susan, one think with owning a dog, they have to be walked. And a great opportunity to explore with the camera.
