My students and I were playing around on a slow clinic day taking x-rays of inanimate objects. Most medical imaging these days is in digital form and viewed on monitors. The pics had to be taken off the monitor with my MX-1. Back in the day, we used film and cardboard cassettes which gave terrific resolution on small body parts.

I soaked the cut flowers in a mixture of radiographic IV contrast and water for 48 hours to absorb. The goldfish didn't show up in our fishbowl x-ray (density of water & fish too similar). And of course, our famous "Buffalo" chicken wings.
