Very nice images. The second one has a very strong 3-D presence. Good job!

I like them.

With the thread title, I was expecting pics from Botany Bay here in Sydney. When I looked, I thought "That doesn't look like BB".

You weren't the only one.

Wherever it is, great set of images.

Sorry for the confusion. Botany Bay is a wildlife refuge located on the coast of South Carolina. Lots of marsh and beach, protected of course.

Yep. We've got them in Galveston too. Sometimes you'll see 4 or 5 of them sitting on rocks, all in the same pose.

Nice shots. All show sights that can be seen at BBP.

I live in the Lowcountry of South Carolina near Charleston. We go over to Botany Bay (Plantation) on Edisto Island several times a year. It is worth a stop if you are ever in the area. It covers about 2500 acres which has freshwater ponds, saltwater creeks, and an isolated beach with a maritime forest boneyard of dead trees at the ocean's edge (about 3/4 mile walk across a dike road spanning a salt marsh). People bring horses and bikes to ride where allowed, and hike high ground oak and pine forests, or to the beach.
