BIF or two
Lens: 300 mm Camera: K-5 ISO: 50
Posted By: slowpez, 12-19-2014, 05:09 PM

Still practicing with the 300 and the TC. The ISO is of course very wrong but 50 seems to be the default choice.

I probably should have cropped out the bird wing in the upper right but I liked it. I think it added balance and told the story. The B&W conversion was a no-brainer as it turned out pretty much colorless anyway.

Very good shots, little noise showing so ISO was probably right. Well done.

Great shots, Susan!
Every now and then, I'll go to the lake by my house and try to shoot the wildlife flying around...the BIF are more like the BISF! (Birds in scrap folder)!

The area is a great place for shots of ospreys Bob. There are a pair of nesting eagles also but I haven't been so lucky with them.

Each country has their own wildlife and it would be great fun to be able to travel all over the world and see it all.

Hey, I have the same folder. I just don't let anyone see it.
