we were fortunate to spend 2 weeks in Zion NP and have this view from our site. This is a very popular area to hike, explore and photograph. Get your reservations in early as this place fills up quickly.

Very deep beautiful colours Bob. The dry clen air makes it natural and crisp. Lovely presentation.

very low humidity here Trev and the air is so clear you always get excellent colors. Thanks for viewing.

seems that our Pentax equipment always gives great colors Susan, you can't beat sandstone for landscapes I've found.

for sure Joi, Charleston is about 12,000' high, so much warmer in this area.

lots of hikers up this way Ranger, we've done lots of hiking when younger, now I just sit at the bottom and take photos as they stumble up the trails.

Nice photo. Love it up in Zion!! Can I ask how much post editing you did though? Or if this was a saturation setting in your camera? Just curious...

you got it right with both, I jacked up the saturation in the camera to pick up more red and then tone mapped the photo and it added even more color. Zion is a special place for sure and Bryce Canyon is an easy daytrip and also a favorite NP of ours. Thanks for the kind words.
