Wanna Make Squirrels Disappear??
Posted By: Rupert, 12-27-2014, 08:29 AM

Yesterday the Woods of Otis were covered with squirrels, the weather was great and they were everywhere! In an instant, they all disappeared......peered out my window for a closer look.....it was easy to see why!

I've been shooting those Toy Cameras so long now that I'm very rusty with the K5 and Bigma, but even shot the rough my office windows, they will still get you a shot!

Best Regards & Happy New Year to all my friends here!

One of those was eating a squirrel in my front yard last week. Maybe next time he will kill the squirrel before he starts lunch.

Several years ago I witnessed a drama like this. I was getting my car at a parking lot which was surrounded by mature trees; a squirrel was sitting on a low branch of a tree next to my car when a hawk suddenly swooped in. The hawk chased the squirrel around and around the tree, but finally had to give up - lunch wasn't worth this much work. Unfortunately, the only "camera" had with me was my smart phone, and it just wasn't up to catching the action. I started carrying my Q-7 with me more after that.

Nice to still see Rupert's shots popping up, even if he's still not around, some good photography.
