Ok I'll be the one to ask, how on earth did you get it to behave and stand up for you like that.

Hi Kerrowdown

I did not do anything special; pineapple was able to stand on its own but was a bit slanted . I corrected the slant in post-processing.
No special setup, i highlighted it using an iphone plus a weak overhead light (far away) , and tweaked the shadows, clarity etc.

btw k10D and my kit lens keep on surprising me. I was not expecting such details.

Quite disappointed that there was no great high tech answer to the upright Pineapple dilemma.
