Aye that was a good guess, your exactly right, lost or buried at sea... I had to Google it to come up with that answer.

The lighthouse in the picture is a replica of the actual Trinidad Light which is on a rocky headland and was, up until recently, off limits to the public. There is a memorial on the replica lighthouse for those lost at sea. The long wall is a memorial to those buried at sea (think the equivalent of grave markers in a cemetary).
