Putting the War in Perspective
Lens: Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 Camera: K-5 IIs Photo Location: River Raisin NBP, Monroe, MI ISO: 4000 Shutter Speed: 1/6s Aperture: F6.3

An American solider in the War of 1812. I really wanted to do deep focus and perspective distortion, but I had no tripod and the light was pretty weak, so I had to choose only one. (As you see, my shutter speed was really low, pushing the limits of shake reduction.) I chose the perspective distortion of close focus with a wide angle lens.
