A personal victory

and, a huge reason I am more excited now that I didn't ditch my 40 Ltd.

Took this and a bunch of other shots with the 40 while my kids played. My daughternever sits well for any pictures...she will cry, she will fuss or she will run. That day was a lucky day.

But the ultimate? My uber-critical wife and m.i.l.....loved it.

Minor correcting in iPhoto...

Congrats!
Ditch a Limited? That would be very tough for me to do.

well, the thought would have been my noob-ish-ness

basically...i bought it because of it's price-very easy to swallow pricetag to get a limited.

and then i almost never used it

ive begun forcing myself to use it as my only lens from time to time. paying off, i think. i just didnt appreciate the little guy!

I just got the 40 ltd a couple of weeks ago, and the photos of my girls are my faves from it so far... This is a wonderful moment...

What makes the 40 ltd so good?

What kind of price tag we talking about?

I just picked up a 50mm Sigma Macro and I am really loving it... there are times I wish it was wider though.

How would the 40 ltd compare?

i know i paid under 300--not sure the exact number now, and i know it is available used.

i wouldnt compare the two lenses-though i think both are sharp.

it was an easy entry into limited glass, and the thing is tiny-pancake tiny, so you can never really find a good reason to leave it out of a kit. my problem was it always traveled...never got used.
