Landscape Night and day

Finally had a sunny day although it is still on the chilly side. Been waiting until the ice was firm thick enough to go out and see this iceberg a few kilometres from home. The daytime shot was cross-posted in another thread.

In the deep quiet,, your mind can hear them (or Nanook) approaching with every groan of the ice.

As many others have said; that first one is absolutely stunning! I'm privileged to live far enough north that I do get to see auroras, and they are mesmerizing to observe! However, having that glacier in the image adds such impact to an already beautiful image!
