With treatment and the view, it looks almost like the foothills of the Rockies in North America. Lovely work.

That's just perfect--though I was expecting a photo essay on Hogmanay. (Or is the first rule of Hogmanay, there is no Hogmanay?)

Not as far as I'm aware.

Mealfuarvonie or Meall Fuar-mhonaidh is a wee hill on the west side of Loch Ness, at 699 metres in height (listed as both a Graham and a Marilyn) it's hardly gonna worry the Rockies.

Another beauty to look at with my coffee. OK, I will admit that I slept in this morning but it is still nice to see something pretty.

The rules are "What goes on at Hogmanay, stays at Hogmanay".

Or to coin a phrase oft applied to the 1960's, "If you remember Hogmanay, mate, you really weren't there."

At any rate, I continue to be impressed by your use of the fast 50 as a landscape lens--of course with FF on the horizon, all the lassies will have to take a step to the left.

Thanks very much for your kind words.

The light is so changeable here, the one above was taken just 30 minutes after this.
