Once every year or two we get a bit of snow here in Jerusalem. Last night was one of those nights.

Thanks for looking!

Better there than here Pablo. Snow is pretty to look at in pictures but I don't want it in my yard.

Most likely the white balance was a bit off, and/or it was reflecting the sky which had a purple tone to it.

It's odd, but I never considered that there would be snow in Jerusalem. Very nice image, purple snow or not.

We had quite a storm last year which the city couldn't handle, including power outage for several days in certain areas (including mine...). Since then I have much less affection to snow, at least at home.

Very nice, I've only seen snow once while in that part of the world, on top of Mt Sinjar in Iraq. I'd love to see Jerusalem some day.

Interesting shot, but I must admit... I do like my snow to be white.

What a cool cityscape! The bright lights of the city contrast with the moody colors of the surrounding landscape - a unique and fascinating photo.

Snow's a rare thing here in SE Texas (thank goodness), too - when it comes the whole place shuts down!

The last year I lived in the Rockies before moving down to the flatland, we had a little over 16 feet of snow. Whew.... just too much for this old timer!

Beautiful shot Pablom. The snow will reflect whatever light is present and I like the color in this image.

Yes, light dusting of snow and schools shut down.... but I think it's mostly so kids can have a chance to play in it, ....and give the tow trucks a chance to pull vehicles out of the ditches.
