Thank you. Even though the birds were coaxes to land on various branches, it was a challenge to avoid backgrounds of brightly clothed onlookers or foregrounds of people insiting on raising their cell phones to get a pic...ugh

TY. I'm very thrilled with the 50-150 IQ. The images it produces are almost as good cropped as my Sigma 100-300 at 300mm un cropped. Really surprised me.
Originally posted by joip Great shots but there's something about the second one that draws me in. That's one of the best museums I've ever visited.
TY. We go 2-3x a year. wish we could visit more often

Originally posted by robgski I like that museum as well. Great shots!
TY. Too bad we aren't all closer, could organize a "Carpool for a Day at the Museum". Sounds like a Chevy Chase/Ben Stiller movie....lol

The ocelot was about 40 feet from me through glass. Had to use GF as a sun block to keep the glare down. The image is about a 50% crop. Even through glass, I'm fairly happy with the result. Best ocelot shot I've gotten so far. They are tough critters to photograph.
Originally posted by photoggle The owl shots are fantastic! How early in the day was these images taken?
TY. The settings on my camera were off by 12 hours somehow, so just add 12 to the EXIF data....lol
