We had a nice day out last weekend to a nearby skatepark with our kids - here are few shots from that walk . I was lucky to score 15 rolls of HP5+ 400 film £2/ea. with 2017 exp. date ( I know, good deal :P ) so I took a test roll and pushed it to 800 ( unnecessarily, since the weather was good, but I wanted to try and see how it behaves pushed one stop in harsh light) and got it developed locally.. turned out nice I reckon .. I think I'll be using this film more in the future . Shot with SMC Pentax-M 35-70mm f2.8-3.5 zoom, and Z1p .

Manual focusing was really challenging but faster film allowed closing the lens more in bright places so a bit more DOF helped. Generally very pleased with this combo - lens is absolutely gorgeous - especially sharp at long end, even wide open. Very nice range on film - makes handy walk around combo with my film cameras.

I absolutely agree - that was irresponsible! We just went out to that skatepark for the first time with him and left the helmet at home ( which we normally have for cycling ) - the lesson is learned, thankfully at no cost - thanks for noticing though !

I was a big skater as a kid, just brings back a lot of memories of hitting the ground...hard!
