Thanks, Well this is not the place you are talking about. "Himalayas with Michael Palin" was filmed on the world highest polo ground "Shandur Pass" 3700m. Every years this tournament is held for two teams. One from Chitral and other from Gilgit. This picture is taken in chitral city which is 1100m above sea level.

I worked in Chitral for about 3 years. Very beautiful place. Specially the Kalash Valley and Kalash people.
