The light is dramatic and the clouds also add to the sense of drama. The various sub frames of the arches give some structure and repetitition to the image. And while there is a bit of a monochromatic feel to the viaduct, the grass and other elements add some strong color.

In case you didn't guess, I really liked it.

Was this done with a kit lens?

How beautiful! The sky, the texture of the bridge and arches! Did you use HDR?

Thank you both for your kind words

No HDR, just exposure for mid tones and shadow / highlight recovered with a little light painting to put back in the missing warmth
