Originally posted by Just1MoreDave I did the same thing to my brother in Manchester, since the last two days here have been 70 and sunny. He just posted a shot of his shoveled driveway, looks like over a foot of snow. I would not be surprised too be shoveling myself in a week.
Apparently, the storm wasn't as bad as predicted, but my daughter said they had 12" when I talked to her yesterday morning and it was still snowing.

Sorry.
However, I've paid my winter dues and then some; 48 of my 68 years were spent in Illinois, Tennessee, Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio and Michigan.

Originally posted by Bob Harris be careful buddy, daughters have a clever way of getting even I've found over the years. Nice to put the top down and cruise isn't it.
Hey, Bob, I'll watch my back.
It was a pure pleasure to take a . . . . . brisk . . . . . . drive with the top down wearing a T-shirt and shorts in January!

Be careful though, kids tend to get even.
Thanks, Heinrich. It's my pride and joy - I wish the driver were as well assembled and well polished as the car.

Originally posted by Bob Harris I didn't even notice the handsome dude in the photo Heinrich, guess I'm just too much of a car guy.
But you did notice the girl explaining the Alfa Romeo 4C in one of my "car show threads." Now why would that be??????

Originally posted by Sagitta I get to go shovel the store out at work today. Not funny at all!
Just wait till August - then you can send me a photo of a pleasantly warm, mosquito-free scene while I swelter in place (or shelter in place should a tropical storm be on our doorstep).

Thanks, EM, but that's not a smug look, it's a dumb look which I've perfected for many decades.
