Perhaps too much blue (having all parts of the eye blue). Try changing the "normally white" portion of the eye to a gray (desaturate) and push the saturation of the iris (maybe add a subtle texture filter to the iris), change the shape of the pupil from small round to oval, or slit or find edge / solarize the pupil. I think it is the pupil that might need a change.
Looks like you are having fun

Quick example of texture to the iris, bit of bloodshot and red rim, saturation. You can make you own textures and brushes that can look really great for eye manipulation.

cool i like the idea but i was thinking Dune

i am sort of aming for

i sort of have to over do the blue in the eyes as well the carters in the story have OVERLY,OVERLY blue eyes because of the spice i am trying to find a balance.

i like the older 1984 version of the eyes better but can not fing a good exaple

Dune.... now that is going back a fair bit. I remember the movie coming out, even watched it, but for the life of me I can not remember what it was about. Judging by your Dune examples I think your "eyes' are on the right track. The Dune examples have larger, fainter pupils perhaps. Seems like fun.

Why don't you post the original as well. You're right it doesn't look quite right, but I think it's probably because of how you're laying in the blue.

Just did one eye as I'm at work. To color the whites I used a low opacity paintbrush in color dodge mode and the iris I used the HSL sliders and had to desaturate the highlight a little bit.
