I finally got the nerve to try my old lenses from the K1000 on my K100D, and was very pleased at how the old 50mm kit lens worked. Here's a picture of my cat, Cleo:

Nice, he looks like a wild cat with all the plants surrounding him Is it an M or A lens? It appears that the focus plane is either on the body of Cleo or on the plant.

And what do you mean by "got the nerve?" Do you mean to tell me that you've had old lenses just lying around untouched???? No way, not me. I would've slapped that bad boy on immediately!

This cat has character, a chin tug there like how models pose to photographers.

Its fur coat looks so nice

And Cleo is fashion magazine too. Fashionable

It's an M lens.

When I first got the camera I tried one of my old lenses on it and couldn't get the camera to work, so that made me a little nervous. After that I found this forum and read about everybody else using the old lenses, so I finally got around to trying it again.
