A very unusual flower.........
Lens: Sigma 105mm F2.8 Macro Camera: Pentax K-3 Photo Location: Perth Western Australia ISO: 250

It looks a little like a rose, I've seen a rose flower with similar colorings.

Yes but the bush it was on certainly didn't look like a Rose Bush and that has me puzzled.

Did it have thorns like a normal rose? I think knockout roses don't have thorns.
