Ice skating show......
Lens: 18-135 Camera: K3 Photo Location: aboard Oasis of the Seas ISO: 2000

.....on the Oasis of the Seas. Most of it was way too fast for the shutter speeds availably at that lighting level but here are a few:

great set of shots - were you pushing the envelope iso-wise?

disregard what I said - I didn't spot the info at the top. These higher iso setting are pretty usable.

another great set of photos from your adventure on board Heinrich. They sure have a great variety of shows there to keep you busy. TFS.

Thank you John, K3 handles high iso pretty good, as does the K5 and I go as high as 3200 for normal shooting. If detail is not that important one can go a lot higher than that.

Thank you Jer for the very kind words, the failure rate is rather high. A much faster lens would help.

Again excellent concert photos! I think such a thing is difficult to photograph?
