Yeah, that grey dull light when there's an impenetrable layer of clouds overhead isn't great for photography, and we certainly get a lot of it.
It wasn't particularly windy, and a sort of mildly chilly day.

I'm planning on focusing on rocket technology and aurora studies-- so going out to shoot the northern lights basically is field work :P
