Abstract Xmas lights and icicles

Nothing much to do today with another winter storm moving through, I got interested in playing around with my 50mm manual lens and the icicles hanging off the Christmas lights on our deck. I'm kind of happy with how they turned out! This lens never ceases to please...

I was just saying on another thread that I don't use my A50m 1.7 as much as I should, it does a fine job as these shots show, very nice. I doubt I'll ever get the chance to shoot ice on my xmas lights
