Posted By: libbe, 05-29-2008, 05:19 PM

So i did my last car shoot a couple of days ago, and now i have edited them a bit. The car is a friend of mines, it is a Mercedes C200Kompressor with a Kleeman stage2 kit and some sweet carbon details and a black painted roof.

Vivitar 105 and 2 flashes fired, one from each side

DA 16-50, and 2 flashes fired, rest can be seen in EXIF

Hei du:

Veldig fint 'shots', likte all sammen. Tenkte på hvor forandret det er i Norge siden jeg dro derfra for nesten 50 års siden. Lykke til med fotograferingen.
Sorry for you all who do not speak the language, just could not help myself.

Cheers

That third shot is what does it for me. With the light-spot around the Benz.

Your friend has one hot car. Forget ricers, I want a Benz.

Number 3 is by far the best in my mind. Some seem underexposed.

You did a fine job. I like #2, but #3 really does it for me, although, I might have cropped just a tad from the left. Your friend should be very proud.

I like the third shot best also.

That's a C-class? With a two-liter four-banger? I think that's an E-class over here. The C-class are the "baby benz" models. (My daily ride is an '89 300CE coupé with a Sportline suspension.)

The C-class is the "baby benz" here as well, it is the smallest version, the chassis is a W203. But here in europe they come with a 2-liter four-banger as you call them, the V6's or the AMG V8's.
I would assume you get the V6's and the AMG V8's in USA, since you seem to value your displacement alot hehe...

Your E-class coupe is a lovely car, do you have the old 12V engine producing 177HP/132KW or the 24V producing 215HP/162KW?

I like what you did with the sign in the 2nd shot and the lighting in the 3rd one. The last one is the only one that didn't work for me. I think the rear quarter could've used more lighting. I'm headed to eBay right now to pick up some Cactus V2's.

My Fav is the overhead parking lot shot. I like how the lighting fades from corner to corner and highlights different portions of the car.

i'm in with everyone else, #3 is definitely the best
to me the perspective for #4 looks kind of strange because the ceiling is so low
finally your last photo i like that look a lot, but the low ceiling kinda ruins the effect a bit

I dig 'em. Especially number 3. Before the recent change (which looks like a Dodge to me), I love the C Class (but please to tell my Bimmer which snarls at every Merc we see).
