I recently visited the Caverns of Sonora, a huge limestone cave which is open to the public for tours. It is really hard to photograph the inside of a cave without a tripod and flash, but some of my photos still turned out well. I set the aperture to 1.8, the ISO to 3200, and the exposure compensation to -2. Sometimes I would bracket the aperture and ISO, if I had the chance, but the tour moved pretty quickly. They do offer special photography tours, so maybe I'll have to try that out some time.
