I again had the pleasure of attending the North American International Auto Show this year in Detroit last month. Here's a few of my favorites from the show:

Wonderful shots - I dig how the selective color accents the cars themselves - something I've never tried (or thought of), since I don't know how!

You certainly picked a group of striking vehicles. As a Porsche guy, I'm happy to see the Targa GTS among your photos, and that Ford GT is stunning.

Great shots, I notice in the first image that the centre wheel caps have the Porsche logo correctly vertically aligned, intentional or luck?

I know I'm sad for noticing such things and perhaps need to get out more. But it's this level of attention to detail, I strive for when I'm being paid to shoot.

Please tell me it's not just me...

Thank you! I'm sure there's much better ways, however I just de-saturated the background with the brush tool in Lightroom. I don't have enough knowledge to know of any easier ways.

The background and lighting made it extremely difficult and selective color seemed the only way to really make the cars pop.

Wow, I didn't even notice that until you mentioned it. I'm sure the Porsche specialists made sure every detail on their world premier was attended to.

I really like the selective colors, nice shots all of all those beautiful vehicles.

I love the Shelby GT Cobra, but that Ford GT is out of this world gorgeous. If only I had the money...

At the auto show, they are very attentive to details. It's not just the logos. Notice the spokes of all the wheels are also perfectly positioned.
