That fast 50 can fill a frame, no? I'll be curious, though, if you'll lose some of those outstanding blues once you turn your K20d out to pasture...I think it would throw everybody for a loop if the new FF sensor rendered something like, say, a Canon.

So I use the "Special Lady” (SMC Pentax-A 50mm F1.2) just now for this sort of thing, come the day of the FF I'll just have to use my “Sweetheart” (SMC Pentax-A* 85mm F1.4) for a similar views.

Only time will tell on that... could be a lot more PP involved after the event or alternatively just create a "K20D Sensor" preset for colour correction.

Well, you could throw a bunch of ZK's in your bag, just to have your bases covered--just about the only thing that would tempt me to FF would be if Zeiss started to offer a K-mount 21mm.

We are pretty lucky here, we don't get the snow in quantities you guys do.

Running water, grass visible, I think Scotland has nice winters! Do you know of any rooms for rent?

Very nice shot, by the way.

Another fine shot from the Kerrowdown! I almost bought a K20 because of your posts! But I figured my feeble attempts at mailbox photos would not improve anyway!!

Here in the Highlands we share an old common ancestry with the Norse, so the answer is drinking and chasing the womenfolk.

I'd hold off just now and follow the Kerrowdown into FF lands of adventure.
