James, your Carlton Draught is up there with them in terms of sales. From Wikipedia:

While popular in many countries, particularly where it is brewed locally, Foster's Lager does not enjoy widespread popularity in Australia. As a bottled beer produced by the Foster's Group (formerly the Carlton United Beverages group (CUB)) it is rarely promoted in Australia. XXXX is easily one our greatest beers. Just dont ask a victorian (VB - bit like there weather, horrible) or a tasmanian ( Boags is just bottled Tamar river water).

No I'm not biased cos I'm not in queensland but u really cant beat a 4X ona hot day down the beach.

Some of our boutique beers are worth seeking out, Redback, Beezneez, James Boag etc. Coopers Pale Ale is a nice drop and Crown Larger is probably one of the best known commercial beers served in most restaurants,

good to know there is a watering hole if I ever get up there!

Could be very difficult to find overseas. But I've heard of specialist pubs in Belgium for example that claim over 400 beers on the range, so maybe...
