1936 Auburn Model 852 Supercharged Boattail Speedster · 08:13 PM

Last December I just happened across this little car show that had this 1936 Auburn Model 852 Supercharged Straight Eight Boattail Speedster. I took some quick shots, as I wanted to try to catch some others before they left, and unfortunately, this is all I was able to catch. Perhaps more next time.

This one had a plaque bolted up on the dashboard, certifying a top speed of 101.12 miles per hour.

Beautiful car, well captured. I can imagine Gatsby and Daisy tooling down the two lane to East Egg.
