Who Says Pentax Can't Do Sports !

I always hear that Pentax can't do sports, their Autofocus is pathetic, they're too slow.

And Dave has to post photographs like this one proving everything I've heard to be wrong

I hear ya gpaual - while I am not a senior I am still closer to 49 than 50 but not by much. Injuires now take weeks instead of days and me bones ain't growing I am shrinking !

So, the reason for the small image was that it was taken at f/1.4, 4000/s, 6400 ISO right?

Awesome, the way you froze the action with just a hint of motion blur on the bowl. Those bowls move in excess of two miles an hour.

I am glad you noticed that Gary , without the motion blur it would appear all are statues

Looks like he was moving too fast for your camera, Dave. The ball looks blurred

haha it was tough - I turned away , tied my shoes , got a drink , changed batteries and bam ! she was shooting so I harldy had any time to react !
