Pearl Beach Panos

Waves always present challenges.
All with the Tammy 18~250 on K20D.

Great images. The first one is simply gorgeous!
I can't help being somewhat curious: did you create the panos by stitching or cropping?

Those are really great panos. Even the one with the waves, I might not have noticed if you hadn't mentioned it.

Stitched in Auto Pano Pro

Thanks for the comments

Paul, I stich all my Panos, the first is from 9 shots in portrait mode,
the others 6 and 8 images respectively.

Thank you , this is what you would have seen from the beach, same morning, taken before going up to the lookout.

I'd have to say the one of the bay is the best. Those waves are very nice. Even though they don't match up perfectly :P

I like 'em all though.

WOW! I didn't see it until I just posted, but that sunset picture from at the beach is THE BEST ONE! So magnificent.

Seen many a sunrise at Pearl

Thanks Mathew, it's a place close to my heart, been going there for over 30 years, my son was a month old when we had new years there with friends, he just turned 31

Hi Sergei, I like the tree shots, especially the first one. I think the beach panorama is interesting. Initially I just saw patterns in the waves (I thought at first maybe the wake of a boat). Then I realized what it was because one of the seams is quite obvious. There are one or two more that I could see fairly easily but the rest are invisible, or nearly. As a panorama, I don't think it's anything special but, when combined with the puzzle of finding where the seams are, it gave me a bit of a mental workout.
From a creative point of view, you could take the seperate sections at intervals (either side of a sunrise or sunset maybe) thus giving each section different lighting and demonstrate the motion of time as well as space.

I really like the second one.
The additional from the beach, before going to the lookout, is really great too

Why do I always agree with Damn Brit?

I find the beach panos very cool especially the last sunset one...

But my fave is that first tree shot... well done

Almost like fairy tale.

Cheers, anyone for tea ?

Thanks Gus,

I like that tree pano best as well, kinda Tolkien I guess.

"Why do I always agree with Damn Brit?"

must be the colonial mentality hangover
Although you guys broke free from it a lot earlier than us down under, in fact around the Boston Tea Party, didn't you
