I had a short trip to the museum "Technische Sammlungen Dresden". Its locatet in one of the old manufacturing building of VEB Zeiss Ikon Dresden.

As far as I know these prototypes are the very first cameras wearing the name "Pentax" an the last one that have been built (1954) here in Dresden.
1959 the name Pentax was sold to Japan.

I think this is the second prototype. 24x36mm

This is the first prototype, 4.5x6cm roll film
