Hmmm yes , the Orb weavers are getting so large its hard to keep all of animal in focus , even at F32 ...
I guess the good news for everyone is that these are in my yard , rather than yours . And the rule around here is , don't go outside without a powerful flashlight .. ( I have lots of those )
But they are very shy , and inoffensive animals with little to no interest in humans ..
But then if you were to walk into a web ( they like doing them at face height ) and start flaying about like a landed fish , the spider may feel threatened and bite !
Especially a problem on warm evenings just as the sun has set , this is the time the orb weavers begin to spin their webs ( at face height ) , so late evening walkers beware !
