or what we sometimes call Christmas Orchid.

.... because they usually start to flower around Chistmas time.

than you Em, I took the time to setup my tripod for this one for some longer exposures, cheers

thanks Ray, its been flowering since just before Christmas, every couple of day a new bloom, they only last a day or two in pristine condition though, cheers

thank you Jer, appreciate your comments, I tried some different settings, this was the best overall I think.
