First ever attempt at shooting the stars · 12:22 PM

Here is my first effort. Most of the pictures looked great on the LCD but were blurry and out of focus when viewed on the monitor. I will make some changes and try again shortly.

It was my first attempt with the O-GPS1 last week and I chose the same subject - Orion. I got much the same result, so I have to say good first attempt! The potential is there with the nebula.

That's an excellent first attempt. Certainly better than the ones I started with. What lens were you using?

You've got the stars alright - but try next time to have a foreground - a tree, a tent and mayby even yourself- with just a little bit of light, maybe just a little LED bike light.
