Twilight Lightning
Lens: Sigma 18-125 DC HSM Camera: K-x Photo Location: East Pilbara, Western Australia ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F22

Approaching thunderstorm a few days ago--it was still maybe half-light, so I had to go high on aperture and low on iso to get the 10sec exposure. The pure night shots always seem to give more dramatic colouring. It looked like being an interesting night, until a big strike--not captured, just out of frame, --took out our power network, and I was back to work.
