Putting everything into perspective Boston's average yearly snowfall is around 45".Right now we have 102" in the books and the record is 107.6" Tomorrow night it is forecast for 4-6" of snow to fall. As of today there is over 3ft. of snow on level ground as you can see in the photo.Bring it on. Break the record and then pray for Spring.---charliezap

I hope you had previously laid in a supply of Red Solo Cups! My sis-in-law had two adult sons visit for the weekend mainly so they could shovel her rooves. The snow was 18" - 24" deep up there. She says the frost line is below 60" - well below (deeper than) the hundred-year mark - and municipal water supplies are freezing and breaking. They're all told to run water somewhere and their bills we be the same as last year.

Upstate New York.

That is deep snow. Looking at the snowblower, looks like it's working it's little engine out to the max. I bet right now that small engine repair shops in the Boston area, have full work schedules.

Please keep the pix of Boston coming Charlie. Some of my ancestors lived in the Boston and Salem areas...a few centuries ago. Interesting to see .....through your excellent photography.... the historic landscapes and the winter conditions..... that they lived with.
