Great shot. In the past we have lost a few transformers due to squirrels.
But those two look like they know what they are doing.

True story....I was working on a house many years ago when we heard a loud bang and all the electricity went off. I asked my helper to go out back and check it out. He came back in and told me it was a squirrel that had shorted out the transformer on the power pole.
I asked him if the squirrel was dead? He said, "Yeah, I'm pretty sure......he was still smoking and surrounded by sweet potatoes and covered in squirrel gravy."

No issues with birds or squirrels on the lines as long as they don't come into contact with a grounded conductor. That gets more dicey near the poles...but in the center of the line they are good to go. You would be to!

Plus, if I'm not mistaken it looks like they are on the low voltage portion of the pole...not the 3-phase portion.

I'll trust your opinion on that. It looks plain scary to me!
