Nature Red Sky In Morning, Sailors Warning

Red Sky In Morning, Sailors Warning · **1 Like**

Caught this beautiful sunrise early Tuesday morning... as the saying goes, Red Sky In Morning, Sailors Warning, is quite true...starting Tuesday afternoon 4" of sleet fell out of the sky, followed by freezing rain into the night. From Wednesday on 'till Thursday night, 10" of snow with temps into the single digits. I hope old man winter is finished!!

Tom - I've been warned!

Nice photo - I need to get off my lazy posterior and get up early some morning to shoot the sun coming up over the gulf.

Beautiful image Tom, when Jer posts an early am photo I might follow his lead, "might" being the key word.

Jer...if I didn't have teen aged children, I really believe that I wouldn't get up too early on a weekday morning!

I am not getting an image...but am a sucker for a good....or bad.....sunrise.

Love the contrasting colours in this shot the silhouettes are very sharp.
